Résidence Georges Lefèvre - S 3.2
Zoom out

When I came to Geroges Lefèvre, I didn't know anyone but my closest neighbours: Florence and Jimmy. Their were quit special. However they were the first French people I met so I didn't pay attention at it.

Once, Jimmy purposed to Florence to prepare a dance show that they would perform before several people. Jimmy was a techno maniac and florence was not bad in dance at all so it was really easy to them to train a 2 minutes show based on the hit: ...

Florence performing a show

Ther I knew Filippos and Socrate, the two Greeks living on the same floor. And the conctact was so easier than with Frenchies that we became friends very quickly. By the same time, Florence and Jimmy began to avoid us.

In winter came Jean-Baptiste (JB) and Christophe who had to finish their school (École Nationale des Arts et Métiers). JB was enough a good "collector" of people that we became soon a big band of students. Often we were by Filippos' and watched his videocassette for example.

Collective tv watching

The tape was about high speed driving in Greece, especilly the weekly show at ... preformed by mad people with boosted cars. You must talk to a Greek to understand.

But the most important activity in S 3.2 was playing Descent, the 3D computer game. As I had never have a computer, I had to spent whole nights playing this thing.

Venda playing Descent

No surpirsing there are a lot of picture dicumenting my activity.

For people who like details: my main problem was to mentain the joystick near to the keybord while playing during hours. It was always slipping away so sometimes when the game wasn't easy to interrupt, my hands were each on the other side of the table.

Descent fervor

Well, that's enough for this room. See other rooms, because to understand Zdarma, you still don't have enough material.
