| Résidence Georges Lefèvre - Extension to S 3.2 |
|
Because my room was too small to host big parties or simply dinners with more than 4 persons, we had always to move to the corridor making so a sort of extension to my room. It would be ok, but you should know that my neighbour was Jimmy a very strange guy. He was so shy that he was unable to cross my extension while we were there. That's why, he absolutely hated this habit: he was damned to stay at home or to stay outside during all the event. But we used the corridor extension also for other activities. One of them was a competition in sliding on wet floorcloth. I remind you the rules in case if someone would beat my record (8 meters): you can make the floorcloth as wet as you want. The aim is to run, skip onto it and slide as far as you can. The foot must be stay at the same relative position (like on a board). If you fall, the try is not valid. Because I don't have pictures of any floorcloth sliding competition, I can show you only Socratis trying rollers: In fact, he falled in both cases. The corridor extension was also a good place to chat with Faride. He never wanted to go in because it would mean he isn't studying. But anyway he wasn't: The last use of that corridor extension I remember is probabely when two brothers came to visit us each from an other side of Europe: mine from Czech Republic and Filippos' one from Greece. We stayed in the corridor during three days. I think Jimmy was not far from suicide. |
